I did my six (5.8 - who's counting) mile cycling route just now, I think I wiped two minutes off my time (33.5 minutes), hard to tell. It felt a lot harder today, more humid out that Wednesday anyway. Still didn't walk my bike up any of the major hills, which is always tempting, I'll be fit by August, who needs a Wii Board. I let myself freewheel a bit more on the scary hill than last time because this time I went out with my sunglasses on and could therefore see the road. (It's lined with a steep bank either side full of shrubs and trees so it's very shady.)
I've got more fat around my middle than normal, so I expect this plus a regime of sit ups (when I can be bothered to start) may tone that bit up, doesn't need to be flat, I just don't want the spare innertube around my middle.
Boy am I hot now.
